So much big news coming from Walt Disney World this morning! One of the biggest ones which was announced at D23 is that HAPPILY EVER AFTER IS RETURNING!
This fan favorite explores themes of Dreams, Friendship, Journey, Love, Adversity, and Triumph showcasing some of our beloved Disney Characters. This show includes projections mapped over Cinderella's Castle, pyrotechnics, searchlights, and lasers with one spectacular finale. It's such a cherry on top of a beautiful day at Magic Kingdom Park. It brings tears to my eyes every single time I see it. I first saw this show with my now husband on one of our very first dates. And I longed that we'd have our very own happily ever after. The show leaves you feeling hopeful, with the promise of a tomorrow that brings light and love to your heart.
Now from what was announced at D23, we're getting a slight update to the show come April 3rd, 2023! Our favorite vocalists Jordan Fisher and Angie Keilhauer are returning to provide the soundtrack for this amazing show, if you haven't heard the soundtrack yet I highly recommend looking it up on Spotify for a quick listen, you'll have it on repeat I promise!
I honestly cannot wait and I hope they don't change the opening to this! Gives me chills just thinking about it!
More Nighttime Spectacular News comes from EPCOT, we knew that Harmonious was coming to an end this coming Spring and I am super sad to see this leave Epcot's Showcase Lagoon. The music was performed by various artists from different countries and backgrounds. It literally made me tear up to hear Arabian Nights performed in Arabic with other South Asian accompaniments added to this musical arrangement. Alas, we're getting a new nighttime show with Epcot Forever briefly returning in it's place come April 3rd. I am excited to see Ursula leave the Epcot Showcase Lagoon, the barge was a complete eyesore during the day. I know many fans wanted this show to work since World of Color is another Disney Nighttime Show that really thrives at Disney's California Adventure Park.
If you're just as sad as I am to see Harmonious depart this Spring, Spotify again has you covered with the full soundtrack available for your listening pleasure!
In addition to the long-awaited return of Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs lol, we're also getting an opening date for the much anticipated Tron Cycles at Disney's Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland. With so many rumors swirling about it possibly opening this April possibly having lockers added to store our belongings prior to entering the ride. I'm excited to see what's announced later today.
Are you excited to hear this fabulous news? This makes me want to book my next Disney World Trip come Spring!
