Today I'm sharing my dining experience aboard The Disney Wish at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure.
This is one dining experience that gives an entirely new meaning to a dinner show. The Arendelle restaurant gives diners a chance to experience Elsa's magic firsthand as she dazzles with her icy magic. The lights twinkle with "frozen fractals" and the windows interact with her cool enchanted abilities. However, the star of the show is the theatrical stage centered in the middle of the restaurant. While the diners who are sitting up close to the stage will have one of the better seats in the house because the view is so amazing. The dinners in the back of the restaurant can enjoy the live music and experiences that happen to surround the stage as our Frozen friends walk around to greet their guests.
The "story" takes place right where our favorite characters left off after Kristoff and Anna got engaged, You, the diner are invited to their engagement celebration hosted by Elsa and Olaf! And for your dinner, it is being catered by none other than our favorite owner of the Wandering Trading Post non-other than Oaken (Yoohoo!) as he's also the proud owner of his Hearty Party Planning Service and.....sauna of course!
The menu is full of Nordic influences and some enchanted cocktails that pay homage to our favorite FROZEN QUEEN of the Enchanted Forest. The food is comforting, delicious, and very filling. On another note, if you're not a fan of dill, you'll want to be vocal about it because it's used a lot as a garnish through all courses. Throughout the meal, guests will enjoy live musical performances by these beloved characters and will even get the opportunity to join the festivities with hilarious sing-alongs and a grand finale that’ll have everyone in the audience on their feet. The performances are amazing and they leave you with this immense appreciation for the Disney Wish singers, actors, and stage performers. Guests can expect to enjoy a smorgasbord of a variety of all kinds of seafood, rustic game dishes, and delicious tributes to the Frozen story. And, last but not least, dessert! It wouldn’t be Queen Anna’s party without plenty of chocolate, including a kind dessert inspired by Kristoff's Troll Heritage.
This restaurant is full of details, from the moment you walk down the long hallway you'll notice family portraits and paintings of scenes from our beloved Frozen films. Down to the very moment you take your seat at your table, the table setting and linens are all unique touches to our Arendelle royalty. Oaken has really outdone himself with this elegant affair.
